Irma M. Yoder

July 30, 1919-Dec. 14, 2009

FORT WAYNE — Irma Maxine Yoder, 90, 19801 Antwerp Road, died Monday at 8:50 a.m. at Woodview Health Care, Fort Wayne.

A longtime Goshen resident, she had also lived in Shipshewana for 27 years.

She was born July 30, 1919, in Goshen, to Laura (Ebersole) and Chauncey A. Stouder.

She married Otis O. Yoder Sept. 9, 1939, in Goshen. He died May 5, 1978.

A homemaker, she and her husband owned and operated a mink ranch in Shipshewana.

She is survived by a son, Richard O. Yoder, Apache Junction, Ariz.; a daughter, Janet K. (Duane) Dunkin, Harlan; a grandson, Kirk (Candice) Dunkin; and a granddaughter, Malissa Dunkin.

Mrs. Yoder was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

A private family viewing will take place.

A memorial service will take place Thursday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. Stephen Bard of the Harlan United Methodist Church, Harlan, officiating.

Burial will take place at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
