Roger Dale Ratcliff

Oct. 15, 1953-June 29, 2012

GOSHEN — Roger Dale Ratcliff, 58, died at his home early Friday morning.

He was born Oct. 15, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Phillip and Janet (Crabtree) Ratcliff.  He married Waneta Radford in 1982.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Carrie (Paul), Brunswick, Ga., and Tammy, Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; his mother, Janet Ratcliff, Goshen; a sister, Linda (Don) Morrison, Goshen; and four brothers, his twin, Robert (Jane) Ratcliff, Casa Grande, Ariz., Fred (Cathy) Ratcliff, David (Lynn) Ratcliff and Danny Ratcliff, all of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Mike Ratcliff, Nov. 28, 2011.

Roger attended school in Syracuse and worked as a manager in the restaurant industry.  He raised horses and enjoyed fishing.

Friends may call from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Lenny Krebs, Benton Free Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be to the family to help with funeral expenses.
