DeWayne Kauffman

Smyrna, Maine — DeWayne Kauffman, 49, passed away to his eternal reward Monday after a short illness.

DeWayne was a member of the Smyrna Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Yoder) Kauffman; and seven children, Joseph (Esther Byler) Kauffman of Vevay, Ind., David (Esther Miller) Kauffman of Greenville, Ohio, Rosanna and (Delmar Otto) of Princeton, Mo., Jonathan, Ephraim, Lillian and Joshua, all of the home; his parents, Marion and Leanna Kauffman, Middlebury, Ind.; brother, Marvin Kauffman, Middlebury; sister, Elaine (Kauffman) Gingerich, Middlebury; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Smyrna Amish Meeting House today from 9 a.m. to  8 p.m., where funeral services will take place Friday at 8 a.m.

Burial will be at Pilgrim Cemetery, Smyrna.

Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
