Delbert D. Burkholder

July 20, 1923-Oct. 10, 2012

NEW PARIS — Delbert D. Burkholder, 89, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at IU Health Goshen Hospital, after a lengthy illness.  

On March 21, 1958, he married Dora Ellen Liebert Gill in Brookfield, Ill.  She died Jan. 28.  

He is survived by a son, Randall (Sharida) Burkholder of Middlebury; two stepdaughters, Lorraine Carson of North Webster and Donna Blough of Goshen.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at New Paris Church of the Brethren. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
