Betty Jo Yoder, 90, 1366 Pebble Court, Goshen, died Tuesday at 2 a.m. at Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen.

She was born July 26, 1920 in Bedford, to Dewey T. and Gladys (Callahan) Gresham.

She married Frank E. Yoder Jr. Dec. 26, 1942, in Bedford. He died June 20, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Ann (Michael) Webb, Norcross, Ga.; a son, Frank E. Yoder III, Goshen; and two grandchildren.

She graduated from Bedford High School in 1938 and from Indiana University in 1942. She was winner of three gold trophies in three dance contests with Cecilia Cushing and Phyllis Bower.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Goshen, where she was involved with the deaf ministry for 11 years. She was a member of Tri Kappa and Maplecrest Country Club.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service will take place Friday at 11 a.m. Pam Kling, pastor assistant of First United Methodist Church, Goshen, will lead the service.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Untied Methodist Church, Goshen, or Macular Degeneration Research.
