ELKHART — Doris Elaine Graber, 58, died Thursday at 9:40 p.m. at her home. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January 2006.

She was born Jan. 28, 1952, in Goshen.

She married Richard Graber Nov. 28, 1970, in Goshen.

She is survived by her husband; her two daughters, Tina (Ronald) Hicks and Cassandra (Corey) Detwiler, both of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Ian Holdread and Zachary Hicks; two sisters, Charlotte (David) Miller, Middlebury, and Cheryl (James) McBride, New Paris; and her parents, Vernon “Shorty” (Lavina) Christner, Goshen, and Lila (Chupp) Christner, Middlebury.

She was a homemaker and a waitress. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, sewing, puzzles, southern gospel music, and above all else, spending time with her family.

Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen, where the funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Chaplain Jane Miller of Care at Home Hospice and the Rev. Terry Diener of Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, will lead the service.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Care at Home Hospice.
