WAKARUSA — Dale R. Oswalt, 91, 11192 Pierce Road, died Saturday at 12:58 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka.
He married Violet E. (Aschliman) Sept. 21, 1942 in Seattle, Wash. She died Jan. 8, 2006.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol (David) Taylor and Julie Schmucker, both of Elkhart; and three sons, Gary (Shirley) Oswalt, Wakarusa, John (Kathy) Oswalt, Elkhart, and Jim (Kathlene) Oswalt, Jamestown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery.
