Mary Plank, 81, 1332 Waterford Crossing, Goshen, died Saturday at 7:15 p.m. at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born June 6, 1928, in Plain City, Ohio, to Erwin “Pat” and Anna (Keim) Kauffman.
She married John Joseph “Joe” Plank on Dec. 6, 1952, in Plain City, Ohio. He died June 4, 2006.
She moved from Florida to Goshen in May 2007.
She worked in the field of health care as a licensed practical nurse.
She was a member of Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Fla.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Sue) Plank, Goshen, and Robert (Pam) Plank, Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Jo (Kerry) Fitzjarrald, Tuscola, Ill.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Anna Mae (Hank) Miller, Plain City, Ohio, Helen (Bud) Thurmond, Sarasota, Fla., Jean (Homer) Swartzentruber, Shipshewana, Betty (Walter) Silks, Dallastown, Pa., and Carol (Jeff) French, Sarasota, Fla.; and a brother, Ed (Carol) Kauffman, Dublin, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two sisters, Irene (Richard) Allan and Ruth (John) Mast.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Revs. Ron Diener and Tyler Hartford of Pleasant View Mennonite Church officiating.
Visitation, memorial service and burial will take place at a later date at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Sarasota, Fla.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
