THOMPSON FALLS, Mont. —
Kenneth Robert Groh, 60, died Sunday at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains.
He was born March 1, 1952 to Edna (Redlich) and Matt (Mathias) Groh in Laona, Wisconsin. He graduated from Laona High School.
His four sisters, Eileen (Willy) Karl, Judy (Roger) Wolff, Beverly (Dennis) Collins, and Linda (Charles) Hetfield all still reside in Laona. In 1971 he married Diane Peters and they had three children: Bridget (Charles) Jones of Thompson Falls, MT; Kim (Randy) Wakefield of West Yellowstone, MT; and Wesley Gohn of Puyallup, WA. He and Diane moved to Thompson Falls in 1979 and he has lived there since.
They divorced and he met Karen Replogle in 1993. She moved to Thompson Falls that year and they married in 1997. He has always been a logger and in 1998 he and Karen formed their own company. He loved the outdoors and always liked the country life. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, logging and farming. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two step daughters, and eight step grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church in Thompson Falls. Sunset Hills Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
