GOSHEN — Roger R. Howk, 77, passed away at 3:45 a.m. Monday at his home surrounded by his family.
Roger was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Elkhart, to Edward and Lucile (Fitzgerald) Howk. On Jan. 6, 1966, he married Jacquelyn Mae Hawkins in Goshen. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1991.
Roger is survived by a son, Donald Howk, Sarasota, Fla.; a step son, Daniel (Connie) Holmes, New Paris; and two daughters, Victoria (Jerry) Brown and Melody (Carl) Shaffer, both of Goshen. Also surviving are six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorlis Koher, Sarasota, Fla.; and a brother, Howard Howk, Lafayatte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucile; his wife, Jacquelyn; and a granddaughter, Heather Holmes.
Roger graduated from Goshen High School in 1952. He was the owner and operator of Howk Motorcycle Shop in Goshen.
There will be no services. Cremation will take place.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
