Gertrude M. Gilson

MIDDLEBURY — Gertrude Marie Gilson, 91, Middlebury, died at 11 a.m. Monday at her residence.

She married William Glenn Gilson on July 6, 1939, in New Castle, Pa. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1983.

She is survived by five daughters, Virginia (Willie) Barfield, Pelham, Ga., Marjorie (Moses) Troyer, Goshen, Laura (Jeff) Zimmerman, Middlebury, Dorothy (Robert) Hall, Astor, Fla., and Janet Hall, Rome, Ohio; and four sons, Robert (YaVonne) Gilson, San Antonio, Texas, William (Debra) Gilson, Shipshewana, Daniel (Tonna) Gilson, Syracuse, and David Gilson, Middlebury.

Visitation is set from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
