GOSHEN — William “Jack” West, 79, died Tuesday morning at Courtyard Healthcare, where he had been a resident for the past year.
On Aug. 17, 1958, in Pearisburg, Va., he married Lucille (Bradshaw) Payne. She died Sept. 9, 1996. He later married Bertha Evelyn Stover on Oct. 23, 1998, in Beckley, W. Va. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, William “Ted” West, Goshen; two step-daughters, Orvilla (Michael) Cardoza, Goshen, and Vicky (Mike) Kimberlin, Millersburg; and two stepsons; Thomas (Marguerite) Payne, Goshen, and John (Patricia) Payne, Bremen.
Visitation is set from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where an 11 a.m. Saturday funeral service will take place.
Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
