Ella R. Eash

NAPPANEE — Ella R. Eash, 66, died from complications from a lung illness Thursday at 1:10 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa.

She was born Feb. 10, 1946, in Goshen, to John and the Rev. Mollie (Hoot) Haney.

She married Olen Eash Oct. 12, 1963, at the Nazarene Church in Goshen.

Ella was a lifetime area resident. She attended Grace Point Presbyterian Church. Ella loved her grandchildren very much and was very proud of them. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and redecorating her home. She was a caregiver to her friends and always thought of others.

Mrs. Eash is survived by her loving husband, Olen; daughter, Tonya (Jeff) Helmuth, Topeka; sons, Randy (Penny) Eash, Goshen, and Scott (Angela Stouder) Eash, Nappanee; grandchildren, Brittney Dudeck, Nicholas Eash, Justin Eash and Darren Stillson; great-grandson, Landon Eash; sister, Marie Janeack, Fremont; and brother, Charles (Verda) Haney of Goshen.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Grace Point Presbyterian Church, 1155 N. Main St., Nappanee, where funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.

Cremation will take place after the service. Inurnment will be at South Union Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Point Presbyterian Church.
