Joyce C. Lebold

GOSHEN — Joyce C. Lebold, 85, died Thursday at The Maples at Waterford Crossing where she had been a patient the past several months.

She was born Oct. 21, 1927, in New Paris, to Dallas and Nellie (Howard) Rohrer.  

She married Harold Schrock June 1, 1946, in Millersburg.  He died April 16, 1992.  

On May 13, 1999, she married Leonard Lebold in Goshen.  He died Jan. 1, 2008.

She is survived by her two children, Vanloa “Sue” (Steve) Pittman, Olathe, Kan., and Dallas K. Schrock, Benton; two stepsons, Rick (Lisa) and Jeff Lebold, all of Elkhart; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Thomas; two brothers, Robert and William Rohrer; and a stepdaughter, Vickie Christensen.

A graduate of Millersburg High School and a homemaker, she was a longtime member of Burr Oak Church.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. John Randolph of People’s Bible Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
