Nellie L. Hite

April 7, 1928-Feb. 8, 2013

GOSHEN — Nellie L. Hite, 84, died Friday afternoon at Courtyard Healthcare, where she had been a resident since July.

She was born April 7, 1928 in Elkhart County, to John and Ethel (Routson) Hite.

She is survived by three sisters, Cecil Ortiz, Aibonito, Puerto Rico, June (Donald) Knisley, Goshen, and Dorothy Fry, Peoria, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Elliott.

A 1947 graduate of New Paris High School, Ms. Hite retired from Essex Wire.

She enjoyed watching sports on television, especially golf and Colts football.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. The Rev. Lenny Krebs of Benton Free Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
