Goshen is changing. I hear this from many people when I return home, and from some Goshen area visitors who we meet at our residential community here in Naples, Florida. But Goshen has been changing since it became a city back in 1831.

So, what did our pioneers do for recreation? For the first settlers of Goshen in 1831, there was mainly fishing and hunting. But archives also reveal games like shinny, duck-on-the rock and run-sheep-run.
