Kathy Sears and David Balser were married June 27 at Hilton Garden Inn, South Bend, by St. Joseph County Clerk Denise Hix.

The bride is the daughter of Esther Hampel, Bristol, and Jerry Hampel, Auburn.

The groom is the son of the late Joretta and Lestl Balser.

Lisa Lehr was the matron of honor and Leah Spain, sister of the groom, was the groom’s attendant.

A reception took place at the Hilton Garden Inn, South Bend, with music provided by Hot Sounds DJ.

After a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, the couple resides in Goshen.

She graduated from Elkhart Central High School and Ball State University, Muncie. She is a business banker for MutualBank, Elkhart.

The groom graduated from Concord High School, Elkhart, and is owner of RV One Inc., Elkhart.
