GOSHEN —
Dr. Lisa Lynn and Nicolaus Schwan were married Oct. 15 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ashland, Ohio, by the Rev. Sanford Mitchell.
The bride is the daughter of MariLynn and Dan Lynn, Shipshewana.
The groom is the son of Karin and Fred Schwan, Ashland.
Dr. Meghan Louis was the maid of honor. The bride was also attended by her brother, Andrew Lynn, and Phoebe Brubaker.
The groom’s brother, Christopher Schwan, was the best man. Morgan McQuate and Justin Moffett were the groomsmen.
Ushers included Rod Lambert, Chris Ott and Tim Senter.
Musicians were Mark Koehler, organ, and Cindy Brucato, violin.
A reception for the couple took place at Jack’s Place, Ashland.
After a wedding trip to Smokey Mountain National Park in Tennessee, the couple resides in Ashland.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Westview High School, Topeka. She graduated in 2002 from Goshen College and in 2008 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She works as a veterinarian at Spring Meadow Veterinary Clinic, Ashland.
The groom graduated in 2004 from Hillsdale High School and in 2006 from the University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima, Ohio. He works as a firefighter and EMT for the Madison Township Fire Department, Mansfield, Ohio, and is co-owner of Schwan Lawn & Landscape LLC, Ashland.
