Tenorios wed

Rachel Parsons and Mateo Tenorio were married Jan. 2 at First United Methodist Church, Goshen, by Ed Fritz and Ivan Roman.

The bride is the daughter of Marcia and David Parsons, Goshen.

The groom is the son of Salome and Luis Tenorio, LaPaz, Bolivia.

The bride’s attendants were Sara Parsons, Julia Parsons Pagano, Beth MacKenzie, Jessie Ramsdell and Melissa Wilson.

The groom’s attendants were Jarred Griffin, Matt Pagano, Francesco Fusello, Addison Shock and Chas Jordan.

Rebecca VanElk served as the hostess.

Suzanne Lizor was the organist and Addison Shock sang.

A reception took place at the Life Center, Goshen, and was hosted by Rose and Scott Sarbaugh.

After a wedding trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple resides in Ixiamas, Bolivia, South America.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Goshen High School and in 2002 from Gordon College. She is an agricultural missionary.

The groom graduated in 1998 from Eufrasio Ibanez High School, El Alto, Bolivia, and in 2006 from Normal Technical School, LaPaz, Bolivia. He is a teacher.
