GOSHEN —
Kelly Jeanette Ray and Bryce Jamin Gast were married Oct. 29, 2011 at Akron United Methodist Church, Akron, Ind., by the Rev. Mimi Tucker and Jared Kendall, cousin of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Mackie Ray, Goshen.
The groom is the son of Mark and Kathy Gast, Claypool.
Jennifer Scheldberg was the maid of honor. Kyleigh Gast, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. Grace Kercher was the flower girl.
Kevin Waldroup was the best man and Sam Harris was the groomsman. Thomas Hill, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The groom’s cousins, Brian Hill and Tim Hill, served as ushers.
Mona Shepherd was the organist and Mike Kendal, uncle of the groom, was the vocalist.
A reception for the couple took place at Amish Acres in Nappanee and was hosted by Greg and Sarah Russell.
After a wedding trip to Sandals Resort in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Goshen.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Goshen High School and in 2002 received a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University, West Lafayette. She obtained a professional in human resources certification from the Society of Human Resources Management in 2008. She works as a human resources manager with HomeCrest Cabinetry / MasterBrand Cabinets in Goshen.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Rose-Human Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He obtained a professional engineering license from the State of Indiana in 2008 and is a project engineer for Donohue & Associates, Fort Wayne.
