GOSHEN —
Kay Moore Branch, Crawford, Colo., formerly of Elkhart, and Devon Lawrence, Goshen, were married Dec. 3 by the Rev. Craig Lambright at Prairieview Missionary Church in Goshen.
The bride is the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Moore of Elkhart.
The groom is the son of the late Howard and Mary Lawrence of Elkhart.
The groom’s brother, Lamar Lawrence, and Kevin Koontz were the groomsmen.
Barbara Hiner and Cathy Cheatham served as the matrons of honor.
They plan to take a wedding trip to Hawaii, then will live the winter months in Goshen and summer months in Colorado.
The bride and groom grew up together in Beulah Missionary Church, graduated from Concord High School and attended Bethel College, Mishawaka. They married others and didn’t see each other for 48 years. After both of their spouses died in 2010, they met again at a high school class luncheon and renewed their friendship while living 1,400 miles apart.
