GOSHEN —
Jessica Diane Slagel and Jason Anthony Goorhouse were married Aug. 20, 2011, in the backyard of the bride’s parents in Goshen.
The bride is the daughter of Sanford and Linda Slagel, Goshen.
The groom is the son of Nanal Goorhouse, Elkhart, and the late Fordyce “Dan” Goorhouse.
Kimberly Gregory was the matron of honor. Krystal Kalb-Weldy, cousin of the bride, Ashlee Lancour, Apple Batang and Erika Wilson were the bridesmaids.
Christopher Bowen was the best man. Daniel Rienks and Ryan Rienks, nephews of the groom, and Cory Slagel, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen.
Kyle Kalb, cousin of the bride, was an usher.
Ashley Goorhouse, daughter of the groom, was the flower girl, and Christopher Goorhouse, son of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception for the couple was hosted by the bride’s parents in their home.
After a wedding trip to Seattle, Wash., and Vancouver, Canada, the couple resides in Goshen.
