Schlamersdorfs wed

Ami LaNae Damer and Rich Schlamersdorf were married June 13 at Waterford Mennonite Church by Tina Schlabach.

The bride is the daughter of Lillian and John Steiner, Goshen.

The groom is the son of Dawn Schlamersdorf, Edwardsburg, Mich., and the late John Schlamersdorf.

Karen Swartzendruber was the matron of honor and Kylee Steiner, Susan Schlamersdorf, Beth Lipscomb and Julie Hanna were the bridesmaids.

David Schlamersdorf was the best man. Jason Steiner, Jeff Thompson, Scott Reavis and Wade Hertsel served as the groomsmen.

Ushers were Joe King, Aaron Vogt, John Schlamersdorf and Brad Schlamersdorf.

Lilyana Steiner was the flower girl and Nolan Schlamersdorf was the ring bearer.

Pianist for the service was Ruthie Saunders, and Myron and Cindy Noward were the vocalists.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her children, Matthew Damer and Drew Damer.

The groom’s children, Kristen Schlamersdorf and Marc Schlamersdorf, escorted him down the aisle.

Servers at the reception at the church were Lorene Miller, Michelle Lehman, Sher King and Lauren King.

After a wedding trip to Sarasota, Fla., the couple resides in Goshen.

The bride graduated from Hesston College, Hesston, Kan., and in 1995 from Goshen College, Goshen. She is a kindergarten teacher at Roosevelt K-2 Primary School, Elkhart.

The groom graduated in 1991 from Southwestern Michigan College, Dowagiac, Mich., and works as an automotive technician at Fred’s Transmissions, Mishawaka.
