GOSHEN —
Charisse Lynnette Mares and Dustin James Eby were married Sept. 14 in an outdoor ceremony at The Inn at Stevenson Ridge, Spotsvylvania, Va., by the Rev. Derry Prenkert of Nappanee Missionary Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dana and Scott Mares, Springfield, Va.
The groom is the son of Sheila and Todd Eby, Elkhart.
Erika Gleason was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Rachel Mares, Lindsey Mares, Becca Eby, Acacia Britton, Kiera Haberkern and Becky Dolan.
Michael Griggs was the best man. Jordan Eby, Ben Fox, Robby Bearss, Jordan Taylor, Jonathon Huff and Jacob Bishop were the groomsmen.
Ushers included Thomas Mares, Carter Britton, Caleb Britton, James Caudill, Lee Gleason, T.J. Gleason, Ali Kazmi, Omran Khatib and Daniel McKellop.
Carson Mares was the flower girl and Andrew Mares was the ring bearer.
A reception for the couple took place in the lodge of The Inn at Stevenson Ridge.
After a wedding trip to the outer banks of North Carolina, the couple resides in Chesapeake, Va.
The bride graduated in 2008 from West Springfield High School, Springfield, Va. She graduated in May from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Ill. She works at the River Oak Church Daycare in Chesapeake, Va.
The groom graduated in 2008 from NorthWood High School, Nappanee, and the Crossing Educational Center in Elkhart. In May, he graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He serves as youth pastor at River Oak Church in Chesapeake.
