Borkholders wed

Jana Nicole Bender and Austin Quennel Borkholder were married Feb. 21 at Upper Deer Creek Church, Wellman, Iowa, by the Rev. Elmer Miller. The Rev. John Yoder presented the meditation.

The bride is the daughter of Lynn and Barbie Bender, Wellman, Iowa.

The groom is the son of Dwayne and Jolene Borkholder, Bremen.

Karla Neuschwander, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bride’s attendants were Angela Bender, sister-in-law of the bride, and Danae Borkholder and Tonya Borkholder, sisters of the groom. Sharon Yoder was the bride’s personal attendant.

Cedric Borkholder, brother of the groom, led the bride’s nephews, Titus Neuschwander and Reese Bender, bell ringers, and Gage Bender and Kyle Neuschwander, who scattered rose petals.

Best man was Corbin Borkholder, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Timothy Bender, brother of the bride, Danny Mast, future brother-in-law of the groom, and Bryan Neuschwander, brother-in-law of the bride.

Lindsay Helmuth, Connie Holman, Melissa Gingerich, Martha Swartzentruber, Sheila Raim, Bethany Miller and Jordan Bender provided instrumental music. Vocalists were Jordan Bender, Kristi Bender and Amy Miller.

Dianne Eberly and Carla Gascho were candlelighters. Chad Graber and Craig Graber, cousins of the groom, and Nathaniel Adams and Seth Holman, cousins of the bride, were the ushers.

Andrea Yoder and Angela Yoder, cousins of the groom, were the guest book attendants.

Leighton Borkholder, Jensen Borkholder, brothers of the groom, and Harlee Bontrager, cousin of the groom, were the gift attendants.

The bride graduated in 2006 from Pathway Christian School, Kalona, Iowa. She attended Rosedale Bible College, Ohio, and Kirkwood Community College.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of United Christian School, Nappanee, and plans to receive a bachelor’s degree in general business and marketing in May from Indiana University South Bend. He is employed by Borkholder Buildings, Nappanee.

The couple resides in Nappanee.
