Godfreys wed

Jennifer Headings and Daniel Godfrey were married May 9 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Goshen, by the Rev. Doug Striebig, uncle of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Margie and Bill Headings, Goshen.

The groom is the son of Nancy and Stan Godfrey, New Paris.

The bride’s maids of honor were her sister, Katelyn Headings, and Kendall Chittick. Bridesmaids were Lacey Holmes, Abby Dillinger and Alissa Zendejas.

The groom’s best man was Chad Lambright. Groomsmen were Sam Godrey, Ben Godfrey, Joe Godfrey, brothers of the groom, and Brandon Yoder.

Ushers were Andrew Headings, brother of the bride, and Kevin McKinney.

Elizabeth Sigler was the flower girl and Courtney Miller was the ring bearer.

Vocalists were the Godfrey brothers, Emily Drudge and David Headings, uncle of the bride. Deanna Beth Chupp was the pianist.

A reception took place at Pleasant View Mennonite Church and was hosted by Kevin McKinney and Jeff and Cyndee Blue, uncle and aunt of the bride.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Goshen.

The bride graduated in 2007 from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, and is a registered nurse at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

The groom graduated in 2005 from Ivy Tech, South Bend, and is a service technician for Zebell’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Goshen.
