GOSHEN —
Samantha Sue Karn and Chad Arlen Halvorson were married March 3 by Dr. James Riley at Second Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and William Karn, Goshen.
The groom is the son of Deborah and Vance Halvorson, Naperville, Ill.
Alicia Vega, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Koryn McHone and Brooke Myer, sister of the groom, were the bridesmaids.
Wes Tipton was the best man. Andrew Myer, brother-in-law of the groom, and David Vega, brother-in-law of the bride, were the groomsmen.
Leta Vega and Naomi Vega, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls.
Andrew Myer was the vocalist and Melissa Replogle played the flute.
A reception took place at the Indiana Historical Society, Indianapolis, and was hosted by Bill and Cindy Karn.
After a wedding trip to Barbados, the couple resides in Indianapolis.
The bride graduated in 1997 from Goshen High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a doctor of jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. She works as corporation counsel for the City of Indianapolis.
The groom received a bachelor’s degree in 2002 from the University of Illinois in Urbana. He works as an airline captain for Republic Airlines in Indianapolis.
