Sommers wed

— Alanna Hurst and Benjamin Sommers were married May 18 at Wakarusa Missionary Church by the Rev. Paul Commons.

The bride is the daughter of Denise and Keith Hurst, New Paris.

The groom is the son of Kathy and Kent Sommers, New Paris.

A reception for the couple took place at the Old Bag Factory in Goshen.

After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple resides in Muncie.

The bride graduated in 2006 from NorthWood High School, Nappanee, and in 2010 from Bethel College, Mishawaka. She works as a registered nurse at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

The groom graduated in 2005 from Fairfield High School, Goshen, and is a student at Ball State University.
