Jakubowiczs wed

GOSHEN — Brandi Powers and Phillip Jakubowicz were married June 25 at St. John’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Chris Smith.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Powers, Millersburg, and Don Powers, New Paris.

The groom is the son of Tena and Fred Jakubowicz, Middlebury.

Attending the bride were Stephani Powers, Rita Jakubowicz, Heather Baumgartner and Elise Hawkins.

The groom’s attendants were Brian Detweiller, Doug Jakubowicz, Cody Powers and Sean Matusko.

The couple resides in Indianapolis.

The bride received her education from Fairfield Junior-Senior High School, Goshen, and Purdue University, West Lafayette. She is a social worker in Indianapolis.

The groom received his education from Northridge High School, Middlebury, and Trine University, Angola. He is a dental student at Indiana University School of Dentistry, Indianapolis.
