GOSHEN —
Amber Lee Spence and Vernon Edward Myers were married Aug. 11, 2012, in Mentor, Ohio, by the Revs. Joshua Scheiderer and Doug Threlfall.
The bride is the daughter of Cindy and Thomas Spence, Painesville, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Martha and Lavern Myers, Elkhart.
Hanna Spence was the maid of honor and Natalie Spence was a bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the bride.
Michael Myers, brother of the groom, was the best man. Todd Bryant, brother-in-law of the groom, was a groomsman.
Jim Wiser and John Wiser, cousins of the bride, and Christopher Myers and Spencer Bryant, nephews of the groom, served as ushers.
Carly Spence, cousin of the bride, played the organ.
Joy Davis was the vocalist.
A reception for the couple took place at Bible Community Church and was hosted by the parents of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Seoul, South Korea.
The bride graduated from Mentor Christian School and Northland University, Dunbar, Wis. She is a missionary. She helped establish Eucon International School in Seoul, South Korea, where she works as a second-grade teacher.
The groom graduated from Fairfield High School, Goshen, and Franklin College. He received a doctorate degree from Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C. He is a missionary and minister, Bob Jones Biblical Seminary instructor and professor of English and Bible at Sungshin Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea.
